Creating Locations from the Registration page.
There are two ways to access Locations, the quickest is using the link from your Registration Page as shown below:
Select 'Manage Locations'
2. Any pre-configured locations will be displayed. Click on 'Add' icon as shown below:
3. Enter the new location details as shown in the example below:
Enter a name for your location, enter a 2-digit code (this allows you to be able to quickly identify your locations) and enter the telephone number in the usual format for example landline 01611234567 (area code and number), or mobile in the format 07712345678.
4. Click 'Save' to save the new location, or 'Cancel' to exit back to the Locations list screen without saving the location.
Creating Locations within 'Administration'
To create a new Location, click on the ‘Administration’ link from the TCM Homepage as shown below:
1. Click on the 'Administration' link from the left hand Menu.
2. Click on 'Locations' as shown below:
3. Any pre-configured locations will be displayed. Click on 'Add' icon as shown below:
4. Enter the new location details as shown in the example below:
Enter a name for your location, enter a 2-digit code (this allows you to be able to quickly identify your locations) and enter the telephone number in the usual format for example landline 01611234567 (area code and number), or mobile in the format 07712345678.
5. Click 'Save' to save the new location, or 'Cancel' to exit back to the Locations list screen without saving the location.
Call Acceptance options: Additional features can be set for example when receiving calls you can enable a hash to accept to ensure that unanswered calls passed to your mobile (if you are registered to a mobile as a location) will not be routed to your mobile voicemail system.
1. To set the #(hash) to accept calls option, from the location 'Edit' screen click to expand the 'Receiving Calls and select the call acceptance action as shown in the example below:
2 Click 'Save' to save the new location, or 'Cancel' to exit back to the Locations list screen without saving the location.
The 'Delete' button will remove the location, the 'Edit' and 'Deleting' location process is explained in the 'How do I Edit my locations?' and the 'How do I Delete my locations' FAQs (see the related post links below.
