Configuring MobilePASS for Mobile for the first time
Note: The following steps were carried out on an Android device, although the process is similar to an iOS device.
You will be sent a link from your Service Provider, which will prompt you to download the SafeNet Application (if you have not already done so)
Follow the installation prompts as shown in the examples below:
1. Click on the link within the email sent to you from your Service Provider (Administrator)
2. Download and install the MobilePASS Application (if the MobilePASS application is not yet installed on your device).
3. Enrolling your MobilePASS Token
Click on the link contained within the email sent to you from your Service Provider (Administrator), as shown in the example below:
Once downloaded, the MobilePASS application will be visible on the Android desktop or device.
4. Click the icon to open the application. The Token Enrolment window appears. A default token named “My Token 1” is automatically created.
For manual enrolment, the Token Policy String window appears. Enter the policy provided by your administrator, and then press “Continue”. If no policy was provided, press “Continue”.
The Activation Code window appears.
To activate the token, do the following:
a. Enter the activation code onto the Enrolment Portal to complete enrolment.
b. Press “Continue” on the device.
c. If you are using a PIN with this token, continue to the next step. If no PIN is required, skip to “Generating one-time passcodes”.
5. Manual Enrollment - click the 'Manual Enrollment' button.
6. Use the Activation Code to activate the token on your mobile device.
Click 'Continue' only after successful activation
7. Set a 4-digit Token PIN
8. Using the Token to Generate Authentication codes.
You can know use the token. We recommend saving the 'SafeNet' App as a shortcut on your Mobile desktop to generate authentication codes to access the hub.
